The Balmy Beach Club has a long tradition in Junior Rugby! Since 1955 the rugby program has been a consistent force in the Canadian rugby community and has witnessed the growth of many spry, gangly youngsters sprout into exceptional rugby athletes. Moreover, Balmy Beach Club consistently produces players who compete at the Provincial and National levels.

The Toronto Buccaneers RFC

The Toronto Buccaneers RFC, founded in 1976, is a small, but competitive men’s club. A TIRF Partner Club since 2012, the club has grown to be able to offer two junior squads at the U16 and U18 levels.The Buccaneers support a number of TIRF designated schools with coaching, squad management and provide coaching to support TIRF’s Rising Stars program.

Toronto City Rugby Club

Toronto City offers Junior U6 to U14 rugby, at Glendon (Proctor Field), from April to September. In addition, Toronto City offers a Wednesday night house league for U12 and U14. Now operating as an independent, Toronto City originated from the junior programs of Toronto Scottish and Toronto Saracens Rugby Clubs.

The Toronto Dragons RC

The Toronto Dragons have been a TIRF since 2012. The Toronto Dragons have two hubs: one downtown and one in the city’s West End. The Dragons look forward to partnering with even more schools in their neighbourhoods, and to have a great season.

The Toronto Nomads RFC

Founded in 1952, Toronto Nomads is one of Toronto’s original rugby clubs. The club’s membership is comprised of mens, seniors, juniors and boys teams. The Toronto Nomads are committed to developing individual and team skills at an early age.

The Toronto Scottish RFC

The Toronto Scottish RFC was established more than 60 years ago. The club is an anchor for schools in the Scarborough area and has mens, womens, junior boys and junior girls teams.

The Toronto Saracens RFC

The Toronto Saracens was the first club to partner with TIRF. Together, TIRF and the Saracens piloted a program at Newtonbrook Secondary School. The Saracens are working to build partnerships with even more schools in their catchment.

The Yeomen Lions RFC

The Yeomen Lions RFC is the only active all-women’s rugby club in Ontario. The YeoLions have been a partner of TIRF’s since 2013. They currently field two senior teams and an U18 girls team. The junior team draws from high schools in the Don Valley West and East regions, with a majority of players being TIRF-sponsored.
