Toronto, ON. November 2022 – The Toronto Inner-City Rugby Foundation (TIRF) is pleased to announce the 2022-23 TIRF scholarship award recipients. We would like to thank all our applicants and congratulate this year’s recipients. Thank you to the dedicated members of the scholarship committee who dedicate their time every year to the selection process.

For the 2022-23 academic year, the Doncaster Scholarship Award will support four (4) phenomenal student athletes. TIRF and the Doncaster Foundation are proud to support and invest in these remarkable student athletes. In addition to playing, supporting, and growing the game of rugby, these students continue to give back to their communities and inspire their peers.

Over the past eight-years, TIRF and the Doncaster Foundation have awarded approximately $433,000 to 25 outstanding TIRF community members as part of a commitment to help remove financial barriers and assist these remarkable young adults in pursuing their post-secondary aspirations. The Doncaster Multi-Year Scholarship Award helps produce outstanding leaders willing to give back to their local communities through the development of rugby and other social initiatives.
